- John Gruber
From his follow-up to "The Android Opportunity".
Gruber absolutely hits the nail on the head with his comment that Android hardware designers have to just crush the iPhone in at least one aspect to make a product that has an appeal other than "it's not an iPhone." Make it the best cameraphone ever - like the quality of a Canon compact camera with phone functions (including real flash!) Or make it the best gaming device ever - a Nintendo DS with a phone.
As of last Saturday, I've moved to LA to take on a new job with IMDB, a subdivision of Amazon.com. I just realized that if you look at my blog, it still looks like I'm in Oregon on vacation - had to do something to fix that.
LA is goodso far - I'm still living out of my bags and driving a rental car. Hopefully that will change over the next few weeks.
(Oh... and In-N-Out was okay. But I found Tender Greens, which I prefer.)
